We all know that lighting is so important especially if you’re working in the same place every day. Lighting helps in so many ways, makes you feel more alert and brighter as well as putting less pressure on your eyes especially if you’re tired.
Think about where best you can place your desk – are you near a window? Think about how the sun moves around in the day – sometimes it can cause a glare on your screen. If you’re lucky enough to it next to a window, that’s going to be great for ventilation too.
If you can’t be near a window, make sure you invest in a good lamp that can direct light onto your work without creating lots of shadows. Try different lamp heights to complement the desk lamp – maybe have a floor lamp which will generate good down lighting across your workspace.
